Weekends and other things

Kudos to the graduate! I'm quite proud to have a nurse in the family.

He's already got a job and he takes the RN exam in June. I've been told their immediate plans are to find a new apartment, since they're in student housing and neither is a student, anymore, and to start a family.

That would be grandchild number 4.

I got some writing done on the plane, which turned out to be easy to do. That ubiquitous background roar was great for helping me isolate my thoughts from everyone around me (except for Rick, of course. I don't want to forget about him!)

My streak for never having it rain while I'm in Seattle got broken this weekend. Lots of rain on Saturday, but the graduation was inside, so that was okay. We did have to take pictures in the rain, but it wasn't too bad.

Back home, I had laundry to do and grocery shopping to accomplish and bread to bake. But I gave myself permission to buy a loaf of bread, instead. I was tired, yesterday! Sometimes, I had to just sit and wait for energy to find me.

Today, I cooked some beans for the freezer and went to the gym. I'm still tired, so my workout was not real impressive, but I got through it without feeling worn out. Now, I must write. There are chapters to Get Done.
