The immediate countdown is for the party I'm catering tomorrow night. I'm shopping and cooking today and tomorrow. I'm not set up for catering - I don't have the space or the equipment, but this is a favor for friends. And one of only 2 jobs I've gotten this month.

I did get a check from the city recreation department for my cooking class in October. Not their fault it took so long - I HATE filling out forms and tried to get out of the job application, but they would have None Of It. I had to fill out the form to get paid.

Once the party's over, I can finish shopping and wrapping and get ready for the two (2!) brunches coming up: one on the 24th with my buds from Berkeley and one on the 25th with the kiddos. All of whom are my Favorite People (along with my husband), so I'm truly excited about both events.

Must begin baking for gifts, too. It's the traditional gift to our friends - fun things like pumpkin muffins, scones, cookies. Pizzelles. I make TONS of pizzelles to give to everyone. I love those things!
