As a what-the-heck experiment, I sent a query out for Donamorgh. I think it's basically ready and I spent a couple of weeks working on a possible letter. It takes weeks, usually, before hearing back and then it will most likely be a rejection. I've got time to finish the final details on the manuscript.

Except the agent just asked for a partial.

Now, that has to be some kind of record. A partial on a first query? Who knew such things were possible?

Yes, I'm thrilled. I'm going over the first 30 pages with my FTC (fine-toothed comb). Then they'll be off, to hopefully continue pleasing the Agent Lady.
