Hmmm, what would you like to know? I'm what's known as "middle-aged," not sure when that happened. I have a bunch of terrific grown kids, a few wonderful grandchildren and an amazing husband. I'm currently a personal chef, by way of geology, since falling victim to a "reduction" when the research project I was part of went in another direction.
I love to cook and learn about food and how we evolved along with our food sources and are vibrantly dependent on them. I like to learn, period, so I subscribe to way too many magazines on all kinds of topics, although they are heavily bent toward science, food, free-thinking and, as my husband likes to put it, "my pinko-commie, hippie, liberal politics."
NEW! I've started a new career as a natural childbirth teacher. I'll be teaching the Bradley method of natural childbirth in the Bay Area. I'm really excited about this - I had all of my kids using this method and I hope I can help lots of other women do it, too!
I've started on my writing career (ahem) and have finished one manuscript and started another. My new motto: get it on paper!
I'm an atheist who is nibbling at the edges of witchcraft beacause, darn it, this planet is just too alive and interconnected and full of power, which I know we can tap into. It's all about synergy, you see. I refuse to make a religion out of it, though. The planet is not divine, it's just different from us. And a whole lot bigger!
